“More Than Just Dance!” A Parents Testimony:
The Impact the Cypher Spot Has Had on Enoch and Kiah!
My sons, Enoch (11) and Hezekiah (9), have been part of The Cypher Spot for five and four years, respectively. Throughout their journey, I have witnessed tre
mendous growth, not only in their breakdancing skills but also in their creativity, discipline, confidence, and faith.

Both boys have developed a genuine passion for breaking, spending countless hours practicing and perfecting their craft. This year, they had the incredible opportunity to travel with The Cypher Spot to Minnesota to compete in a youth breaking competition.
Competing against highly skilled dancers, some as old as 16 and 17, was an unforgettable experience. Although Enoch didn’t advance to the main battles, he represented himself well, while Hezekiah impressed the judges enough to earn a spot in the main competition. Both boys walked away inspired, motivated, and determined to continue improving.
However, the greatest impact of this trip went far beyond the competition. They witnessed the Gospel being shared, connected with other young dancers, and had the opportunity to perform alongside The Cypher Spot team at a church outreach, using their gifts to reach the community.
As a father, nothing brings me greater joy than seeing my sons grow in their talents while understanding that those talents can be used to glorify God.
The Cypher Spot has taught them that hip-hop and breaking are more than just art forms. They can be powerful tools for ministry, discipleship, and reaching the lost.
I’m incredibly grateful for The Cypher Spot and its investment in the next generation. This experience didn’t just make my sons better dancers; it helped shape them into stronger, more confident young men of faith.
